This year we are delighted to announce that the Bramley Brass Band will be entertaining us all from 10.15 am onwards with carols.
For the last four years we have managed to make the Doncaster Santa Dash ‘fully funded’.
This means that EVERY penny from EVERY entry goes to the entrants chosen charity. We are delighted to be able to announce that we are nearly there again for 2016 with incredible support from local businesses.
So, it is a huge thankyou to the following local businesses who have supported this years Santa Dash.
And we’re off! Entries are now being accepted for the 2016 Doncaster Santa Dash.
Just click the registration tab above for all the entry information you need……..
Due to the increase in the numbers taking part in the Santa Dash we have tweaked the route for 2016.
The start and finish will be near the noticeboard down by the lake side behind the cafe. It is still all on footpaths and is suitable pushchairs and wheelchairs. We’ve just moved the start line to avoid the congestion of previous years.
When you pass over the start line – Christmas has starts too!
This years Santa Dash campaign will be launched later this week. We thought we’d better get the good weather out of the way first!
There will be some changes to the event (not major but to improve – we hope) so keep an eye on this website and our Facebook page for the latest information.
We’ll be starting this years Santa Dash campaign shortly and yet again we’re close to having the event fully funded (ALL the money goes to the local charities).
If there are any businesses out there who wold like to join us on this years event with sponsorship – please drop us a line.
We have been hanging back with printed flyers so we can add sponsors logo’s.
Sold out for the last three years – this Dash promises to be even bigger and better.
The Friends of Sandall Park (FoSP) have organised the Doncaster Santa Dash for the last 7 years and for the last two years were joined by the St Leger Rotary Club.
The 2016 edition of the Doncaster Santa Dash will see a change where the Rotary Club will take the lead in organising the event. FoSP will still be involved but the lead organisation will be the Rotary Club.
We are looking at ways of improving this years event yet again and hopefully it will be sold out yet again and provide lots of money for Doncaster Charities……. Watch this space.
